Happy New Year's
I spent most of New Year's Eve making this lovely dessert! It's called a Croque en Bouche, French for "crack in mouth." I first saw one on a wedding cake show on Food Network, and I've been wanting to make one ever since.
I thought it would be harder but it's actually fairly simple. You take cream puffs, dip them in caramel, and stack them into a tower, then drizzle them with more caramel. I think the sugar is usual a little stringier, but I was really happy with how it came out. It was really tasty too! I filled some cream puffs with almond whipped cream, and some with mocha.
